I was finally able to get through to their call center and I've been informed that the second unauthorized charge has been reversed/credited as of 11/17. The fact still remains that GOTIDY.com will zap you with charges even if you don't have a cleaning scheduled, and consumers should be wary of "recurring" type services that place charges without authorization.

So a very pretty hand delivered flyer is on my door and the services offered for home cleaning seem a bit steep, but my regular housekeeper is on vacation so I thought I would give them a try. I wanted once a month cleaning, but they wanted to schedule once a week cleaning.

I don't need that, so I scheduled a cleaning (the least expensive for $45) and then I cancelled the rest of the cleanings. I got a call from one of their representatives telling me they are a recurring cleaning service, and I said I only needed one cleaning. The day they are due to come to my place I get an email stating that my regularly scheduled cleaner is not coming and that a replacement is being sent. She arrived 15 minutes late, ignored most of my requests for the stuff I wanted to have done in the bathroom, so I cancelled the service.

I was immediately charged ANOTHER $45 even though I emailed them about 5 times asking to cancel the service. I am currently disputing their second charge for a cleaning that is not scheduled nor do I even want. As a precaution I am having a new credit card issued and the old number cancelled. These "recurring" charge types are such scammers.

I should have looked on Yelp first, their reviews are HORRIBLE.

They flyer a nice area, get your credit card, promise huge, deliver meh, and then charge after you've cancelled the service. Unbelievable.

Reason of review: unauthorized recurring charge after cancellation.

Monetary Loss: $45.

Tidy Cons: Unauthorized charges, Difficulty in cancelling.

I just found out Tidy is ran by several different young investors that explains why they treat homekeepers and clients terrible. They are shady with paying us and will never talk to us.

TOTAL RIP-OFF!!! Steer clear of Tidy in Ventura, Ca.

I worked for tidy, they were ok at first until they stopped paying me and expected me to still work, which I did not. Oh did I mention they doc $20 for every call off.

Pay there home keepers $20for the $45cleaning $50 for the $90 cleaning and 80 for the $180 cleaning pathetic. Rip off, can never get a response from support and there lines are always busy.

Go in business for yourself cleaning. Don't use tidy.

I was a tidy home keeper and they are horrible to the home keepers you do your job and they get paid but don't care if your check doesn't come the company is horrible I'm glad I get equipment out of the deal cause I sure didn't get paid and I called and emailed the company to be told we are too busy hiring more people to figure out your check

Stay away from this company. I used to work for them, and it was the worst cleaning company I had ever worked for.

No communication, unrealistic timeframes to clean. Just bad.
